There is nothing wrong with the Raven. It's balanced fine.
Heavy blasters are somewhat underpowered, yes.
The prescision cruise and torps are uber, yes.
This does not mean the Raven is overpowered.
Loot drones are a technical problem, so they've given us tractor beams instead.
Warp scrambling drones are not in the game because they would be too powerful under the present scrambling system.
Reload reducing skill? No, just increase cap sizes on artillary, there's no need to upset balance for hybrids or autocannon.
Adaptive active hardener? Armour and shield tanking work differently. Learn the differences.
Implants? Yea, got a point there. *shrugs*
Oh and Facechanger2? Defenders = broken. Allways have been.

You need to learn about cause and effect.
Just because the Raven vs Blasterthron tends to end one way, dosn't mean that there's anything wrong with the Raven. The problem JUST MIGHT BE the Megathron. Or its guns.
Just because the Raven with T2 amo is overpowered, while with T1 amo it's fine, JUST MIGHT MEAN that T2 amo is broken.
Or you might be a troll. I go for all three!

Yes, this is a known issue.
The consensus is that large blasters are underpowered.
The Raven's fine.
(PS, with the armour reistance skills the energised nano membrane II is considerably BETTER than the invulnrability field, since it dosn't drain energy)

Countermeasures:
*target jamming
*tanking (study what damage ravens usually do)
*smartbombs (you DID say close range)
*kill the raven
I don't agree there's another countermeasure needed.
